Welcome To The Human Resources Professional

Resume Database

What is new?

Well for the longest time I had in mind the traditional concepts of hiring manager, recruiter, and candidates. After 10 years, I realized that the manager should be the recruiter, so I gave managers access to all the powerful recruiting tools on the website. We are empowering hiring managers. And the rest is history.

All those wonderful tools that I had build for recruiters, I have now opened up for the hiring managers to use. I think that the hiring managers will be most impressed with the functionality of this user interface. Now if I could only make it look good!

Check out my new app for the iPhone which allows you to Text While Walking.

This part of the page is dedicated to my brother Matthew who was injured in a bicycle accident three years ago, and to his wife Ann Lozinski and the Banner House Home for Brain Injury Survivors in Ventura California.

Recruiter

Christopher Lozinski started this company a long time ago. During the .com era business boomed, and then when the market slowed down, he turned his attention to developing this web site. During the lean years he has been steadily working on this application, and he has now figured out the trick to successful Internet recruiting, and so these sites are growing.

Welcome

These job boards are free for both hiring managers and candidates. It is free to post your job or resume. It is free for hiring managers to login and look at the candidates resumes and see who updated their resume most recently. It is free to email out your job announcement. It is free to add candidates to your short list. I limit you to looking at 20 candidates, just so that nobody abuses the system and downloads the entire database. You get a nice list of candidates who have applied to your job, or who you are interested in it. You can sort your candidates, and comment on them.

So how do I make money? By charging recruiters, if and only if, their client hires one of my candidates. Most people love this financial model. They hate recruiters, and so they like a free job board that charges recruiters. Of course I love recruiters. Why? Because that is how I make my money. So everyone is happy.

On a more serious note, most job postings and candidate resumes should be free. There are only some specialty candidates whose resumes are worth something, and those are the ones that are sought by recruiters. What I am doing is creating a website that explicitly reflects the natural market economics. And that is of course a very powerful business model.

This job board is spam free. Managers post their job. We mail it out and only then can candidates apply. They can only apply once. Candidates cannot spam the managers. Managers really like that. And in this market managers get what they want. Which means we get the candidates the jobs they want.

What if you need more resumes? It is a free job board, but it may not have the right candidate for you. If you need more candidates, we recommend using our job board widgets, and posting them on other websites where these candidates hang out. First find the websites where your target candidates spend their time, and advertise our post-resume widget there. You will get an email notification as each new candidate posts their resume. Read more about our widgets.

Volunteer Translators and Graphic Designers are needed. All of Linux was developed by volunteers, and I do need volunteer help, particularly with translating this job board into your native language, and with making the site look better.

Resumes are publicly visible. Please be aware that resumes posted here, are indexed by the major search engines.
