Job Description
|
-Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of Human Resources activities by performing the associated duties personally or through subordinates.
-Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance;
-Ensures Human Resources compliance with requirements of TS 16949 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 and Customer Specific Requirements;
Negotiates and administers benefit programs, working with vendors and employees to address benefits issues;
-Prepares budget of Human Resources operations; nurtures interactions among all other departments to ensure success of the company;
-Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization; interfaces with payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment of compensation;
-Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions; manages relocations; provides support in international employment issues such as expatriation issues;
-Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurances, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting; submits reports to Management as required;
-Plans and conducts new employee orientation; oversees training programs for all levels;
-Represents company in all employment law litigation and inquiries;
-Advises Management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues; responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs;
-Promotes an environment conducive to remaining union-free through open-door policy and timely responsiveness to employee issues.
